I did not want to rewire the straight key jack or add another jack for the paddle, so I made an adapter to go between the paddle plug and the straight key jack.? You need to connect the tip of the paddle stereo plug to the tip of the mono plug with 2.2K and the ring of the stereo plug to the tip of the mono plug with 10K.
