I had been juggling around that one. Stock 12MHz xtals have an Lm around 17mH and appeared bit narrow with 100pf caps, I was not happy with the round number IF's in uBitx tried some micro controller 11.0592 ones all in HC49S package now they were way too off with Lm at 24.5nH decent bandwidth was predicted by Dishal with 56pf caps and a sweep on SNA looked very decent but since Dishal does not considers actual? Q of xtals the smoother we make the pass band the worse is the skirt of filter. Farhan often mentioned this so still working around that one to arrive at a compromise.
