Most of the talk here about mods has been with regard to getting more power out on the upper bands,
Works, but only a watt or so on 10m.
If your interest is 80m and 40m,? you can ignore all that fuss.
Get it going with no mods initially.
Should do fine on the air as is.

That worked well for me.? Don't worry about any firmware changes or calibration changes until you have assembled it and used it a bit.? Also, check out ubitx.net for news and information.
