Interestingly enough, the illustration does not show an IDC connector but an cable with crimped, inserted contacts.? IDC connectors are usually two row because the ribbon cable conductors are on 0.050" spacing and each conductor in succession is connected to alternate sides of the connector by the contact piercing the insulation.? The cable being sold is ribbon cable with the conductors separated and terminated in crimpled contacts.
