Would the BFO frequency shift the filter peak into the 750HZ? range?
I have an audio spectrum analyzer app on my android that uses the mic. sure would be something to investigate.
I have a source of inexpensive 12.000 Mhz crystals. (5 for? $1.00)? Perhaps a parallel filter network with the low slope variable would solve it..
