Thanks Gordon. I'm already on them. That may explain why my sisters are so bad because they haven't had a heart attack.

Thanks Jack and Ashhar. I have my soldering station and head worn magnifier. If only I didn't have familial essential tremor which makes soldering less than fun. Supposedly drinking wine helps settle down the shakes. I guess I have to kill a bottle of wine.?

The best thing I bought for working with the SMD was a stereo microscope as I was about 65 when I started with the SMD.? Amscope makes one for just under $ 200 shipped that is a 10 power .? It comes with some 20 power lenses, but that is not needed for me.? This one give close to 10 inches of working space under the lense.? You do need a stool that will go high enough so you can have you r head high enough.? It does have the eye piece set at about a 40 deg angle? so it is almost like looking at the work piece.

I tried to keep all resistors and capacitors to 1206. However, some of the C0G caps in the filters were not available readily. Hence, we chose the more common 0805 for those.

Not too long ago I sneezed on a pile of 0402 SMD and, after the cloud hit the ground, I had a 100W transceiver!
