I suspect it works fine, and is cheap enough.
Has 16 bit stereo DAC's out to the headphones, but only a mono ADC in for the microphone.
So not a good choice to receive in quadrature for SDR radio.

Some of the high end soundcards claim to grab 24 bits in stereo.
You get 6 dB per bit, so a 16 bit ADC can have a max of 6*16=96 dB dynamic range.
Your mileage may vary, likely several LSB's of just noise in there.
