HFsignals many times absorbs the loss and ships bitxs to USA by courier
even if the buyer has paid for India post.

I think this is because the local post office is getting overloaded. I suspect
they never worked so much in life.. ROTFL!

Undoubtedly, your package was sent via Indian regular mail to the
airport. It had to be transported by air to the USA and clear customs.
After that. it is purely a USPS matter.

I am sure many have noticed their Amazon packages are also delivered by the USPS.
That is another (sort of) contract service, which greatly helps those on RFD routes.
(There has been some controversy associated with that arrangement.)
