Converting from one band to another is relatively easy.? The LC networks that
are frequency dependent have specific impedance characteristics.? Calculate
that impedance for your 40 meter unit, then use the on-line calculator at
to determine the same impedance circuits at the new frequency.?
This will give you the inductance, capacitance, impedance, number of turns,
and length of wire needed.?
