See how the two boxes are not square?
If you put the tabs 180 degrees facing away from each other the two boxes will square up tight to each other, and the plugs will line up perfectly.
That¡¯s if those are similar to mine, and they do look like it.?
I have thought about a thin acrylic of some sort with just enough thickness and cut a small oval or rectangle in the metal case to accommodate the insulated jacks. ?
Right now mine are just taped together, and I have strain relief on the radio side. ?
