the board numbers within the batch are all topsy-turvey. so, don't bank on them to be shipped serially. the numbering is done at the output of the SMD pick and place which tests it with 'flying probes'. the ok are marked with the number and kept stacked in trays. the THT insertion girls grab any rack and start to populate them. The second test further scrambles them. Then, Uma sits to test the boards, and further muddles up the sequence of numbers. Within this flow, the boards might be taken out of the line-up for rework at smd stage, THT stage or at final test and alignment by Uma.?
