Hi,
I recently saw a picture like this where someone placed a slab of aluminum between the IRF510 pads and the case wall, in order to make up for the margin between them.? Of course, the slab was insulated from the IRF510s.
My case is too big, on the other hand; and I just found some big old CPU heat sinks in a junk drawer.? I'm tempted to drill and tap them, and then see how high I can take the output power.? But that will have to wait until the summer, because this kit has to work for a project this semester.
