In fact you could use regular aluminum foil for this. ??
A few weeks ago I watched a documentary on the Voyager Space probes
and they interviewed the JPL scientists that worked on developing them. One of them told a story of how just before a few short weeks
before the probes were?supposed to be ready, they came to realize that environment around Jupiter was very RF-hostile
and they had neglected to shield?all of the cables running from the body of the probes out along the booms to the instruments.
With only two weeks left, they??raided all of the local grocery stores for AL foil, cleaned it with pure alcohol, cut it into uniform strips and wrapped?it around all of the external sensor cables to shield them. ?Obviously it worked just fine. ;-) ?
