A ham I met at the recent Builders Fest here in Tennessee showed me a trick he uses to attach the larger knobs to the smaller shafts.? He goes to the hobby shop and picks up a short piece of clear plastic tubing that fits the 1/8 inch shaft and the knob goes on top of that.? Worked like a champ!??
