QRZnow is a clickfarm site that copies articles verbatim, slaps their own ads on and around it, and doesn't give credit or direct further traffic to the original authors (unless mentioned in the original text by the articles original authors)like like Hackaday for just one example of doing it right or mostly right.
I first noticed them when they would scrape Reddit posts (very poorly) on /r/amateurradio. Someone would link to it later and we'd inform people.
QRZnow has very much improved their Search Engine Optimization scores in the last 2 years to the point where they are in the top five results on Google, but they are direct copies of one of the other pages in the Top 5 results. Very annoying when I am trying to learn more but only one article seems to have any info and I have more questions than words to search.
I have to stop using the groups.io mobile post. It butchers my writing any time I slide around the cursor using Gboard keyboard.
