Sounds like you are making wonderful progress!!!!
Congratulations and happy Hanukkah. ?Pretty soon, maybe you and your daughter will both have radios! ? I would encourage you to buy one or two little QRP dummy loads.
Is just One example of many that are available. ? That will allow you to operate the transmitter and talk to someone nearby just using the dummy load. ? ?
The manufacturer has already gone to the trouble of finding relatively noninductive resistors. ? ?I still have my original Cantenna dummy load ?from about 50 years ago. ?But since I do a good bit of work with vacuum tube gear, I can often use incandescent
lightbulbs, which aren't so much fun with solid state rigs, due to their inductance & constantly changing resistance.

Ok guys...I've gone through the video. I've removed the squeal from my receiver. The first coil there was shorting... (the one where you put the capacitor on the underside) so the entire board was getting nothing. Unfortunately, the last coil in the bandpass
filter is not working....c1 doesn't produce any sound. THAT is going to require me to take the thing apart....take it out of the lunchbox. BUT, according to the video, once I do that, the receiver will be working. That's a job for tomorrow night though.
But, if I understand correctly, if I start hearing things, then we know the raduino is working fine.
