I can disconnect it from the LCD (which is hotglued to the case with electrical tape over the contact points) and raise it up enough to plug in the usb. Every time I try a sketch, I try it dangling from the usb and then...if that works... connected in that fashion. I've not noticed a difference even once. I don't know if you caught this before, but the 25mhz and 26mhz signals are really loud and strong. The signals at 4600-4900 are barely audible above the noise floor.... so much so that I tried to turn off attenuation, etc. to see if I could make them louder. I couldn't.
