Got volume control
hooked up this morning.? Used RG174 to top of the pot and
wiper.
With a couple of feet
of wire for an ant.? I fired it up.
I get lots of
"Birdies" singing everywhere.? I can detect the Tuning noise
from the past.? But very slight, volume full up.
I just heard a guy at
7.185.? Donald Duck sounding.? I could not clear him up.? Must
be running big power and ant.? I am in a concrete walled
house.? AM radios don't like it here!? BitX never hear any
station in here.
Huge Birdie at
7.120,?? Big!
I have the Mega Pro
running on the new RaduinoXP.?? It has all the good supply
filtering.? I do have to drop the resistor value into the 7805
Regulator.? I used 47 ohm, OK on Nano board but the Mega Pro
draws more, the regulator is near drop out.
So what a folks saying
about Birdies?
I may separate the
Mega XP board temporarily and shield it with a zip lock bag
and al foil?
Maybe I am hearing it?
