The uBITX got here this morning at 10am local time. It was worth the DHL trackable shipment to see it go from Hyderabad to Bangalore, over to Leipzig, Germany (dear to lovers of J.S. Bach!), then to Belgium, then back to Leipzig for some reason, then off to Cincinnati, and thus to our area.
Let me tell you, Team HFSignals, that one would usually expect a kit for the kind of price you're charging, but here we are with a fully assembled main board. Pretty amazing. And if that board is hand soldered, it's amazingly neat. It's also neat to see the bi-directional IF amplifiers implemented with surface mount parts, saving a bit of room. It's so neat that any modifications I conceived of - possible all-solid-state TR switching - would make me reluctant to mess up the beauty of the board! On top of that, it's packed in a plastic box to re-use and store more small parts!
Will take a while to decide how to wire it up and package it, but thank you once again!
