I'm not inclined to add stuff to the wiki, or think of it as official.
Anybody can edit any of that stuff, including stuff I might have submitted, apparently with no attribution.
It does seem to work well for wikipedia, though they have systems in place to keep it accurate.

In this forum, posts are permanent, for better or worse.
I can't even go back and edit all the embarrassing mistakes in my own posts.

For advice on such things as hardware mods, I'd prefer to read a good self consistent write-up by
somebody I've found reason to trust in such matters. ? ?Perhaps a webpage off somewhere else,
or just a pdf in the files section, with a comprehensive history of changes.?
Any new/updated files or webpages should be pointed to with a forum post.
