Modification of Allard. #bitx40help

 

Hello everybody.

In order to start editing my Bitx40, I take stock of the components I miss. As I chose to modify the code of Raduino, with the version of Allard PE1NWL, I read and translated in French the page "User instructions for Raduino_v1.15".

If I understand correctly, I have to buy a 10tours 100k potentiometer, and install the famous function button between A3 and mass.

I see in the photo of Allard a capacitor, and I have not seen anywhere this addition. Is it necessary?
And if so, what capacity?
