Re: BITX QSO Night, Sunday, October 15, 7pm Local Time, 7277 kHz in North America, 7177 kHz elsewhere

I started out on my "big rig" but had a good
signal from Robert VE4RBH in Winnipeg. I started
out running 5W, but did turn it up to 100W at the
end. Then I changed over to the BITX and had my
4th BITX-to-BITX contact, but two of them were
with VE3THR. While I was on the IC-725, Robert's
signals were about S1 to S2 but sounded much stronger.
I think there was some QSB by the time I changed
over to the BITX. I think I had an easier time
copying Robert than he had copying me, but it
was a confirmed contact.

Spread out over an almost two month period, my
BITX-to-BITX contacts have so far been the
following. I haven't kept track of the non-BITX
contacts, but they have been quite a few. I'm
still hoping for an elusive VK or ZL contact.

VE3THR W1LY VE3THR (again) VE4RBH
