How did that little board cost 2.67 to ship?? The way you packaged it?

Wrong. That's the lowest rate you can get for a parcel. Anything that is over 1.4" thick or can't be bent is a parcel. With deceptive packaging you can send it for less, but to me, that's a crap shoot and is risky.
