Re: CW mode delay

Allard, I really wish you keep semiQSK way of TR CW switching. I just
wired all CW connections according to your instructions except
sidetone (I had fairly loud speaker in my keyer) and tested it on air.
With your latest FW version it works amazingly well. The only issue is
occasional slight delay in the beginning of CW transmission (to the
point that some single dits at 20-25 wpm speed won't flip BitX into TX
at all). You have included a lot of features in your FW, I am not
sure if could further optimize its performance in order to avoid
delays in TR switching.
Thank you once again for your work for all of us.

The first code loss will be prevent by using the manual PTT SW to ON.

Sorry, but that will not solve the issue unfortunately.
In the current design, the radio will automatically return to SSB mode when
the PTT switch is pressed.
Perhaps we need to create an extra setting in the SETTINGS menu for PTT, so
that the user can select AUTO or MANUAL

AUTO (this is current funcionality)

When CW goes down => switch to CW mode
When PTT is pressed => switch to SSB mod

MANUAL (new function)

Operator selects mode manually and presses PTT manually
radio remains in the current mode when PTT is pressed

But I feel the main issue is the 1:3 ratio of the morse code is broken
during the transmit.

I will check the code again and look for any unnecessary delays during CW
transmission.
