I run jt65 on the bitx40 using raduino v116
1. Do the usb mod - remove 2 caps - search for usb mod on bitx groups.
2. In settings set lsb freq then set usb ( usually 1500)
Lsb must be done first.
3. I use a vox ctt to trigger tx
4. 2 600 ohm transformers speaker and mic isolation- not required but keep the audio clean.? To switch between ssb mic and computer o/p to rig i use a dpdt toggle switch.
5. Thru casual use have confirmed nearly 200 jt65 contacts..?
Over 15km is my longist contact.?
Works very well at 4 watts..
