Re: How to pronounce "BITX"?

John

I've had a reply from Radio Royalty! Thank you so much for responding to me. It's By-Tex for me from now on.

Thank you too for such a brilliant design which has brought inexpensive HF operation to so many. I'm helping a friend at our local club, the South Nottinghamshire Amateur Radio Club (SNARC) in what will be his first HF construction project. Of course, I have to build on too! We're building modules on 2 inch/50mm squares of copper-clad board. We're right at the start of the project, and I'm working on the AF amplifier board first. I just came to the computer to look up the details of some relays I've found for the Tx/Rx changeover, and saw your reply.?

Thanks again for your reply and all you've given to this great hobby! Maybe we'll meet on the air sometime.

Hi All,

Is there a correct pronunciation of BITX? I've been calling it "Bittex" but I wonder if there's an official pronunciation.

Thanks and 73,
