Hi gang, I just received my order for the BITX40v3 and during board visual inspection I noticed the board has been modified in the balanced modulator circuit. D15 and D16 and the 100ohm balancing pot has been replaced by what looks like a dual diode package with 3 leads smd. My reason for buying this board was to analyze the balanced modulator circuit to see how they were able to accomplish such good carrier suppression levels. I have tried building several circuits only to obtain about 24db of suppression and the BITX40 claims 50db or better. I need to find out what the replacement part is that has replaced D15 and D16. I cannot find the numbers that appear on the device to match up on data sheets. Can someone help me out on this? Thanks for reading
