Yes agreed, attachments should go... it can safely be assumed that the sender didn't particularly intend these to be stored for ever. BUT, deleting attachments is not easy. I asked the owner and he told me that we have to go through the messages and delete the attachments. That doesn't seem very practical. I will email him again now and ask for some tool to do that.
