Well...I don' know, Jerry. Consider the size of the TP-42, or any current shunt capable of over
2A. The board size would probably have to change as well as installation of quite a few more
expensive parts. It's probably better left as a hack.
You do have a point about the users who aren't aware they need one, however. Might save
a bunch of hassles. OTOH, this might increase the number of plaints about "why won't this rig
transmit even though it looks ok?" Hi.
