EXACT same problem. I think the 1st transistor (from the DDS connector) is laying out unprotected. ?Anything coming along couples right into base. Including too much voltage from our homebrew DDS(s). ?I'm in the same stage of dead. ?I have an extremely deaf receiver that looses the DDS waveform as soon as I plug it onto the DDS connector.
