I got my BITX40 in the mail Saturday. I got it up today and checked in to the Southcars net on 7.251 Mhz. I powered it with a 11.1 volt Lipo battery that I use with the RC airplanes. It is fun to use 6 watts. I will work on an antenna to use portable so I can use it at the private airport that I hang out at a few days a week. I used a case that I bought at Harbor Freight.
