So for your blind friends are you thinking an audio frequency readout, and maybe a welcome message?? Also maybe a large on off switch ??

Thoughts:
Very impressed with W5KUB's demo of the BITX40 and his video interview with?Ashhar Farhan, VU2ESE on his internet round table weekly Tuesday Nights at 20:00 CST at . I ordered my BITX40 from Ashhar about the 3rd of January.. Got a ship email but it has not arrived yet.. In the mean time I ordered a few things for it. I am going to play with speaker-mic or microphone and cabinet mounted speaker... I ordered both. Was surprised today when the microphone showed up in an ICOM box.My budget for the BITX40 build is $100 by the way.
Shipped was an ICOM HM-118N microphone with up-down buttons.
$9.95 USD free shipping. Ordered 1/3 arrived 1/14 China to Kansas
Baofeng speaker-mic unbranded..(good quality)
$5.70 USD free shipping. Ordered 1/3 arrived 1/14 China to Kansas
Electronic Plastic Shell Cartridge Handle Project Case Desk Instrument 200x175x70mm

QUESTIONS:
I do not want to re-invent the wheel. I have 2 ham friends who are BLIND. I would like to cobble together a BITX40 (current version from India) for them with:
#1 CW capability
#2 CW frequency read out..via a push button.
Has anyone done this?
Would anyone like to work on the project with me as I know there are many visually handicapped hams out there in Radio Land
