Re: 7.285 is the QRP SSB calling frequency

I made contact with WA3O in Pittsburgh last night on 7.285 last night around 8 pm EST (0100 Z).? BITX 40 Modules on both ends, but Mike was running his to an amplifier and I?had 25 volts on the?IRF510, so it wasn't QRP....??? We should definitely encourage use of 7.285 as a calling freq for these rigs.

7.285 is the QRP SSB calling frequency.? It takes a little bit of tuning to adjust the BITX to that frequency. ?

I will be looking for other Bitx operators at 7:30 PM eastern, 00:30 zulu.
