You can use any small signal n-mosfet - bs170, 2n7000, 2n7002 - what You have in box. Any small signal silicon diodes.
The AF gain pot is moved (100-500 ohm) to the output of AF amlifier. Instead of pot we use 100nF between legs of volume connector.
Photo1 shows c3 and mosfet welded directly to pcb ( to volume connector.)
