Bitx40 board #759 arrived safe this am at my QTH in SE England. Close inspection reveals no evidence of damage in transit, it was well packaged in a plastic box and polystyrene foam. Unusually for the UK it got through customs without import duty and VAT being charged, probably due to it being described on the declaration as an ¡®Educational Electronic Kit¡¯ ¨C nice one Ashhar.
I intend to drive it from an ebay purchased DDS kit, do I deed to remove the VFO coil for this and is the DDS 200 ¨C 400mV DDS output sufficient to drive the diode ring mixer?
