I haven't done it myself, but I think you may be able to just:
1. Edit the update_zbitx script, line 11, which reads:
???? git checkout farhandev
to read:
???? git checkout messenger
Then update in the usual way by .
2. Use this ino file to update the frontpanel:
No warranty included, I haven't had time to dig into the software side of this properly yet. Someone else may have better instructions.
