The sBitx line should have a long and healthy future.? ?It is a good competitor to the G90 line, offering a much bigger screen and more opportunities for working with the code yourself.? ?I'm surprised that no one has created FM mode yet (I may dabble at it now tht I'm taking a break from high school teaching).? ?It fills a very particular "niche" in the product line of ham radio.? ?In a lot of ways, it is the "Heathkit HW-100" of today.? ??

I'm wondering what improvements Farhan has made to the power amp!? ? Moving to 100-V parts is a good idea as he with the 510.? ? Others have somewhat more gain-stabilized amplifiers and he might have finally given in to use a bit more of that.? ? I was quite happy that I could replace the Z24N (a 50V part) with the IRF520(100-volt page) in my V2's.? ? I'm quite happy with them, althrough I don't have the TIME to do the exploits of Gyula!!!? ? But I have great fun with them.
