It looks like the front panel is exerting pressure on the display and pressing the screen causing it to "self-calibrate".? As Vince suggests, loosen the front panel bolts ever so slightly and perform the touch screen calibration routine. The touch screen calibration routine does not have a time out feature and sometimes when I run the touch screen calibration, the Pi boots up before I complete calibration and I can hear the audio from the Radio.
