There are some "gotchas" in the circuitry of the used V2 that I bought.? ?Adding a few protective resistors will prevent all the issues that I either had, or caused myself!
You know, I check this feed many times a day and this is the first I have seen this. I will have to look into this a little bit closer, thanks for the post Gordon.
