As Scotty R. suggested, I would look for a possible heat issue.? This could be in any receiver circuit, including the BiDi amps.? It could also be related to the Si5351 drifting, causing an out-of-alignment issue.

It would help to know if the background noise reduces when the fading occurs.? That could point to the LM386 or Q70 as the most likely culprits.
