My goal is to eventually separate the front-end from the backend: there should be a radio-control daemon that can stay running in the background, with a particular interface that I have in mind which will make many kinds of front-ends possible.? Then using qtlocation will be possible on the raspberry pi display. ? ?But it might take a while to get the radio backend separated from the GUI and working correctly (I’ve hardly looked at the code so far, let alone actually start trying to refactor).? I could probably write a separate logbook-mapping app in a short time though. ?(It’s been done many times though, right?) ?In the meantime there is that chrome-based app already installed.
