home in the village too.

The duty etc is charged at checkout but no receipt of
tax paid is provided on delivery.
If I raise a stick then the amount is sometimes
credited back. Annoying and painful.

Hi Jack,
Amazon US is levying an import customs duty
from VUs which is illegal enrichment.
There is no customs duty on books and
periodicals AFAIK and never been charged
for the last 50 years! I have stopped
buying anything from them!
