I use the JTDX software on the sbitx v3, I run 64-bit OS, I only run the sbitx at around 2w, maybe go up to 5w max. I do that regardless of radio as no more than that really needed depending on the antenna and its more of an achievement making long distance contacts on low power.
I used JTDX on the stock 32-bit image too, however I did notice some audio error reports after a while operating, stop the program and restarted it usually cleared it. Still using the supplied 2Gb pi though I found when I swapped it for an 8Gb pi I already had, it did perform better.
I may be moving my sbitx on, if not I would swap the pi for a 4Gb one as I think overall the sbitx would perform that little bit better.
I have posted some of my FT8 exploits on the Facebook SBITX group with pics. Mine is pretty stable for digital operations, just not impressed with SSB performance hence the reason to move it on, FT8 is a back up mode for my portable operations so have now got an FT-891 and use a spare pi3 for FT8 for when I need it using vnc and an ipad.
Done quite well with the sbitx on FT8 so far
