Sorry that this caused you grief.
There's a number of ways to address this in the future:
? 1) Have a "Release Notes" file that accompanies new major releases,
? 2) Update the wiki to state there will be a startup delay the first time sbitx is run,
? 3) Include wisdom files with the github distribution (it looks like Farhan has already done this - not sure why you had a delay)
? 4) Add a startup splash screen that asks the user to wait while the wisdom files are created.
I really think option #4 would be cool - I was thinking of a cartoon showing the linux penguin leaning against a large toroid, which to me would be a cool sbitx logo. Alas I can't draw a straight line with a ruler - would love to hear other ideas about a graphic for a possible future splash screen.
