Hello, I recently received a V6 from a silent key.
The rig seems to work fine, except the VFO encoder (either tuning or push in) does not work. No change in frequency when the encoder is turned.
I confirmed the encoder is plugged into the raduino board,? (not on the main board)
The touch screen display acts as normal, you can change bands and frequency manually, etc.
I did some trouble shooting, and am pretty sure that the encoder is not the problem.
Yellow 5.07 volts to ground
Black, Red and Brown 5.03 volts to ground
With the encoder disconnected
Red/Yellow is the push (Normally open) connection
Yellow/Black is the encoder (pulses between open and short on my DVM)
Yellow/Brown is the encoder (same as above)
Any advice on how I can further trouble shoot, or point me to a solution?
