Compiled lots of things in the Pi5 inside the sBitx - all good! Power is not a problem.
But the kernel for the Pi 5 still a some bug with the wm8731 support, I'm working on fixing it. I opened a bug in the RPi kernel bug tracker:
Aaand... that is it. No road blocker. We can use the Pi 5 with the sBitx once this bug is fixed.

I lose one USB 2 port as it does not fit well in the cut (Ethernet port in the Pi 4). My recommendation to Farhan is to make the box cut similar sizes (like the central one), or just make the opening a wide rectangle , in order to cope with both Pi 4 and Pi 5 Ethernet / USB ports (which are inverted in the Pi 5). Otherwise... pretty usable like this.

Buying a new ribbon cable. I'll keep going to see if I can identify any road blocker.

Indeed, we are deploying some radios in Brazil and also some places in Africa. Right now I'm in Europe, so keeping the radio close to the radiator is my option to test at home.

Good point.? It seems Rafael's units are deployed in remote locations in Brazil where he will be likely to encounter some pretty warm conditions.? It sounds like he plans to explore CPU frequency settings etc to get an acceptable power/heat envelope. Also Farhan is located pretty close to the equator.
