Re: sBitx CPU load

I was playing with my daughter with the radio speaker / mic just for fun in audacity. The radio is pretty cool for playing with audio and music indeed! For video, definitely the radio is ready for SW TV. Hopefully DRM will add to the standard spec the video transmission bits.

Take a look here:

It took me a while to get this code perfect to my purpose (with a
reasonable low latency of 1024 frames).

Ok.? I will look at this code.? Also I will see if I can't prototype it in speaker-test1.c.? I appreciate all the tuning work being done on the code!

Btw, turn off the HDMI audio, so you get only the sbitx sound card
(unless you use it, of course).

I agree, and have made the changes in /boot/config.txt that turn off HDMI audio and even the built-in headphone audio, yet the image that comes with the radio does not do this, and if we use more specific device names people will not have to disable HDMI audio and/or headphones.? My sbitx v3 board-only unit is going to live in my shack, it might be nice to use it to play some music from time to time, and if we get Pi 5 working well, maybe watch some videos too!
