First of all, We who Pray will put you on the prayer list in regards to your surgery!!!
Second, looks like you will have some room on the back. If you do a standard SBITX build, maybe build it so you can have a remote head so it can be mounted on a small plate with a expandable pipe with push button clips? and it would be comfortably be in front of you so you only have to glance at it?
if no display,
?then build it strictly for CW and SSB. motorcycle headphones with built in micrpohone,and a CW key mounted on the frame close to your hands, so your legs pumping the pedals wouldnt be making it hard to send CW while on the move. And for being stationary, flip a switch and have 2 or 3 speakers working with the unit to allow others to hear the sweet sounds of CW and SSB.
just throwing out some ideas. never had one of those vehicles. looks like a decent ride!!!
