Just a thought ...

The sBitx V2 sounds like a really great rig, one that lends itself to user modification, especially of its software ... but it also has attractive features for relatively non-technical folks who simply want to operate it pretty much like a black box.? Given the status of the rig as being fairly early in its life cycle it can have (and has had) some growing pains, and likewise some users have had confusion on just how to use it.? From the several posts I seen describing one issue or another, it isn't readily obvious which might be the case.

I wonder whether a competent person ... maybe somebody in Europe and somebody in the U.S. ... might offer (for a modest fee) to provide a testing service.? Users would get to know whether they or the rig was the problem, and the user base in general would be able to learn about possible hardware or software anomalies that don't show up in every unit.

I certainly don't have that competency, but I bet there are those who have both the skill and the opportunity.? I guess the question is whether the inclination is there.? Or maybe it's just a dumb idea.?? ;)

As I said ... just a thought.
