Evan,

Thanks for the response!? I have a 1.5GHz spectrum analyzer that I used as a frequency counter following the linked method above and then tuned the BFO (basically skipping step 1 in your list).? After letting the radio warm up for about 20 minutes, I was able to get the tuning clock (clk#2, TP_12) to 55005 KHz to within one Hz.? It did watch it drift over the warmup cycle, for sure, but then it mostly stabilized.? The SA waterfall was quite stable, so the clock source seemed good.? I then tuned the BFO and signals seemed strong and sounded pretty good.

That said, I tuned to the FT8 frequencies and especially at the higher frequencies, I had to tune down 1-2kHz the higher I went to get to tje "proper" FT8 frequency.? Is this a "feature" of this radio, or is it a calibration issue?? Should I calibrate in the middle of the range, say 14MHz instead?? Or should I calibrate at the highest clock output?? Or am I seeing calibration error in my scope that I can potentially tweak out?

I didn't have time to go back and check the clk#2 frequency on all bands, but I can do that tonight.? If this IS a "feature", are there any suggestions for a more accurate clock source?? Any help is greatly appreciated.? Thanks!
